Yet another result of my jetlag; found myself up at about 6-ish looking for food. Chanced upon a Mcdonald's and true to the bagel culture in New York, they have them here as well. I went for the steak, cheese and egg bagel which included some grilled onions as well. This wasn't too bad really, albeit quite greasy and the bagel didn't really taste that fresh. I need to get over this jetlag soon.

Hey D, you sure do travel a fair bit! You'll be in old uncle sam's for awhile only or are you there for good? Cos' I saw your farewell series on food to say bye bye to SG???
Dear Mr. D
Will you visit SG again? How can you "tahan" without all the brayani, kueh chap, charsiew, bbq-stingray, otak and all those south east asian stuff unavailable chinatown??? But then again, you're a good cook... do come back to eat SG's food if you can, in the meantime, enjoy your bagels, muffins and donuts... North Americans are spoilt for choices when it comes to muffins.... Hummmmmm, raspberry-yogurt muffin, lemon poppy seeds, orange-cranberry with almond and golden bran were my stable during school days!
D .. me bugging you again.
I just tagged you. I'm new to this tag thingy so anyway, I did it to return a tagging favour. It's cool with me if you leave it alone too because this tagging back and forth is actually a little weird to me ...
jas: responded on your site
anon: so far I'm actually "tahaning" rather well haha. I'll be back to Asia, not that soon but definitely.
